Project: Exterior Front Entrance Way

The home owners front concrete steps were crumbling away, and it was becoming dangerous to step on. They had a stub wall made of masonry bricks that was old, weathering and unappealing. For the steps we used wedge anchors to put down our support boards onto the concrete. The 5/4’s decking was then screwed into the support boards to hide the concrete and create a quick and solid area.

For the stub wall we used PL premium adhesive and concrete screws to fasten ¾ pressure treated plywood onto the bricks. We then screwed brown pressure treated 1x6 boards for a simple finished look to match their upgraded steps. This was a simple and cost effective way to quickly turn an outdated area into something the homeowners loved and was safe to step on.

Client Testimonial.

We hired Alex and his team at Two Trees Construction to build us a front deck. They did an excellent and professional job and we were very happy with the outcome.

We would definitely hire them again for other projects.

Have an idea? We would love to hear from you.
