Project: Kitchen, Bathroom and Basement Renovation
Our client was looking for a complete home renovation. On the main floor, the kitchen was outdated and the cabinets were starting to fall apart. We used new custom cabinets and a beautiful quartz countertop. The flooring was replaced with a new click vinyl plank and replaced the handrails with stainless steel posts and 8 mm tempered glass. We also replaced the baseboards, painted the walls and existing window trim.
In the basement the main focus was re-doing the bathroom. There was mould on the walls and you could smell the water damage. We gutted the whole area, redid the insulation and vapour barrier as well as spray foamed the joist cavities. A new fan was added to help with expelling the moisture efficiently. The new shower was tiled and enclosed with a glass door.
We used loose lay sheet vinyl for the flooring to provide a comfortable and maintenance free area. To finish it all off we installed a custom vanity and laminate countertop with a custom cut mirror.
In the rest of the basement we replaced the carpet, suspended ceiling tiles, doors and trim. We also repainted the walls and suspended ceiling track.
